Serving ideas for fermented products
- Use krauts & other fermented foods as a condiment.
- Terrific on a salad. No time to wash and chop up vegetables just add a couple of forkfuls to a green salad.
- When eating cooked greens use a tablespoon or two of your favorite sauerkraut on top, instead of vinegar.
- Cotido or Jalapeno Kraut make great toppings for beans, quesadillas, tacos or any food that needs a flavor boost.
- Kimchi used as a topping on eggs, rice, beans, and other foods that need a spicy kick.
- If you really want to add a spicy kick just add some of the jalapenos – they’ll add some heat.
- Want to dress up and add a crunch to a grill cheese sandwich. After grilling your sandwich with your favorite cheese, open the sandwich and add some drained Jalapeno Kraut, or Kimchi or Dill Kraut ‘n Pickles.
- Make a great side dish salad using the Classic Kraut or Caraway Kraut. Add seasonal vegetables, such as grated carrots, radishes, scallions and mix with olive oil.
- Substitute Dill Kraut ‘n Pickles, for pickle relish, in potato salad, tuna salad, deviled eggs, etc.
- Any of our Sauerkrauts are great on or with burgers, hot dogs, veggie dogs, sausages, sandwiches or wraps.
- No meat no problem – Classic Kraut & Caraway Kraut are great on mashed potatoes. The hot creaminess of the potatoes juxtaposed with the sour crunchiness of the kraut are superb.

- As a glaze for pork roast, pork chops, ribs, salmon, chicken or ham
- On a turkey or ham sandwich
- Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
- Mix with soft butter for a spread with corn bread
